GoatHead Audio Now Has a Studio in Las Cruces
GoatHead Audio now has a recording studio in Las Cruces. We've teamed up with The Destination Sports & Arts Complex to give local musicians a dedicated place to record, right here in town.
Where the Studio Is
The studio is at 1103 E Lohman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001, inside The Destination Sports & Arts Complex. If you haven't been, The Destination is a sports and arts facility built so athletes, artists, and musicians have a place to work on their craft. The arts side, called The Den, has soundproof rooms made for music. That's where we set up.
It solves a real problem. Las Cruces has plenty of bands and not many places to record without driving to Albuquerque or El Paso. Now there's a room in town built for it.
What Changes, and What Doesn't
The studio is open by appointment, 7 days a week, from 10am to 9pm. You book a time, show up, and the room and gear are ready. Pricing stays per song, not hourly, so you're not watching a clock in the middle of a take.
Mobile recording is not going anywhere. It's still a core part of what we do. If you'd rather track in your own rehearsal space, at a venue, or anywhere you already sound good, we'll bring the full rig to you across New Mexico and El Paso. Same engineering either way. The studio just gives you one more option, and a home base when you want one.
Booking a Session
Tell us your songs, the dates that work, and the deliverable you want, whether that's raw stems, a mixdown, or a full mix and master. We'll get you on the calendar. Sessions run in four-hour blocks that comfortably cover two to three songs.
