Mixing Services

Mixing takes your raw recorded tracks, drums, bass, guitars, vocals, keys, whatever you tracked, and balances them into a cohesive stereo file. It's where a recording starts sounding like a record instead of a rehearsal.

    What the Service Includes

You send us your multitrack files (stems), either from a GoatHead Audio recording session or from any other source. We import them into our mixing environment and get to work.

Basic mixing includes: level balancing, EQ shaping, compression, panning, basic reverb and delay, and a final stereo bounce. You get one round of revision notes.

Pro mixing adds: detailed automation (volume rides, effect sends, transitions), advanced processing (parallel compression, multiband dynamics, harmonic saturation), multiple revision rounds, and more time spent fine-tuning the details.

    Who It's For

Bands who recorded with us and want the full package. Artists who tracked at home and need a professional mix. Anyone sitting on multitrack files that sound flat, muddy, or unfinished.

We mix everything from punk demos to acoustic EPs to full-band rock albums. Genre doesn't matter. What matters is that the final product sounds like the band intended, just better.

    Remote Mixing

You don't have to be local. Send us your stems from anywhere: Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, whatever works. We mix. You review. We revise. Files delivered digitally.

This works for artists who recorded at home, in another studio, or with another engineer. If you have multitrack files, we can mix them. Format requirements: WAV or AIFF, same sample rate and bit depth across all tracks, all files starting from the same point in the timeline.

    2. We build a rough mix and send it for your review within 3-5 business days.

    3. You send revision notes. We adjust.

    4. Final mix delivered as a stereo WAV file, ready for mastering or release.
